The Anywhere Enterprise: Enabling Tomorrow's Information Workers
Duration: 60 Minutes
The cloud presents all kinds of opportunities for today’s enterprise, from anywhere access to anything-as-a-service. While organizations are keen to reap the benefits the cloud offers, many fall shy of adoption for two reasons: security and control. Sensitive data must be protected at all stages of its lifecycle, no matter how much it moves around. At the same time, those charged with managing that data must have the ability to retain ownership and authority over provisioning access – a challenge that some methods have been unable to solve.
Register for this episode of The Briefing Room to learn from veteran Analyst William McKnight as he discusses the practical considerations for cloud deployments and the ease of protecting data. He’ll be briefed by Farshad Ghazi of HP Security Voltage, who will show how his company addresses data security and access concerns for the cloud. He will explain that data-centric security through format-preserving encryption, tokenization and stateless key management, users protect their data while maintaining visibility and control, without the risk of breach or exposure.
